The story behind the app
IBS affects 10–15% of people worldwide — roughly 800 million individuals. Most spend months on elimination diets, manually tracking every meal in spreadsheets or paper journals, trying to figure out which foods make them feel terrible.
We built FoodClue because we believed AI could make this process dramatically faster and easier. Instead of handwriting food diaries for months, you take a photo. Instead of guessing at patterns, algorithms find them for you. Instead of 6 months of trial and error, you get actionable insights in about 14 days.
FoodClue is a wellness tool — not a medical device. We show patterns from your self-reported data to help you have better conversations with your healthcare provider. Every correlation we surface is observational, not diagnostic.
Claude Vision analyzes your meal photos to identify ingredients and flag trigger categories automatically. You review and confirm — the AI does the heavy lifting.
Our correlation algorithm is based on established IBS research, including the ACG 2021 clinical guidelines and FODMAP studies from Monash University. We require minimum 3 exposures and 15%+ above baseline before flagging a trigger.
Your health data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell or share your personal information. You can export or delete all your data at any time.
